1. Service Description
FindAssign is an online marketplace that connects freelancers ("Sellers") with clients ("Buyers") seeking professional services. FindAssign acts solely as an intermediary platform and is not a party to any service agreement between Buyers and Sellers. We provide the technology, infrastructure, and support systems that facilitate these connections.
By accessing or using FindAssign, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this platform.
2. User Accounts
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use FindAssign. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. FindAssign reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided proves to be inaccurate, not current, or incomplete.
You may not use another person's account without permission. You agree to immediately notify FindAssign of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
3. Freelancer Terms
Freelancers on FindAssign agree to deliver services as described in their gig listings and proposals. You are solely responsible for the quality, legality, and accuracy of the services you offer.
You must accurately represent your skills, experience, and qualifications. Misrepresentation may result in immediate account suspension. You retain intellectual property rights to work you create unless otherwise agreed with a client in writing.
Freelancers must respond to client inquiries within 24 hours and maintain professional communication standards. Repeated failure to deliver on time or as described may result in account penalties or suspension.
4. Client Terms
Clients agree to provide clear, accurate project requirements and to pay agreed amounts promptly. Abuse of the dispute system, including filing fraudulent disputes to avoid payment, will result in account suspension.
You may not solicit freelancers to work outside of FindAssign in order to circumvent platform fees. Attempting to contact freelancers through personal channels discovered via the platform for the purpose of avoiding fees is a violation of these terms.
Clients must review and either approve or request revisions to delivered work within 14 days. Orders not reviewed within this window will be automatically marked as complete and payment released.
5. Payments & Fees
FindAssign charges a service fee on all completed transactions. The standard commission structure is:
• 15% on the first $500 of lifetime earnings with a client • 12% on earnings between $500–$2,000 per client • 10% on earnings between $2,000–$10,000 per client • 8% on all earnings above $10,000 per client
These fees are automatically deducted from the freelancer's payout upon order completion. All transactions are processed through FindAssign's secure escrow system. Funds are held in escrow until the client approves the delivered work.
Withdrawals are subject to a minimum threshold of $10 and are processed within 3–7 business days depending on the selected payment gateway.
6. Dispute Resolution
FindAssign provides a Dispute Resolution Center to help resolve conflicts between Buyers and Sellers. Either party may open a dispute within 30 days of an order's delivery date.
Our support team will review all submitted evidence and attempt to reach a fair resolution within 5 business days. FindAssign's decision in dispute cases is final and binding.
For disputes involving amounts over $1,000, parties may elect binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
7. Intellectual Property & Confidentiality
Upon full payment and order completion, the client receives all rights to the deliverables produced by the freelancer unless otherwise specified in the order agreement. Freelancers may retain the right to display work in their portfolio unless the client requests confidentiality in writing.
Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary information shared during the course of a project. FindAssign's trademarks, logos, and brand assets are protected intellectual property and may not be used without written permission.
8. Termination
FindAssign reserves the right to terminate or suspend any account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Grounds for termination include but are not limited to: violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, harassment of other users, or repeated poor performance.
Upon termination, any pending withdrawals will be processed subject to our review. Funds held in active escrow for ongoing orders will be handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with our dispute resolution procedures.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in federal or state courts located in Delaware, and the parties hereby consent to personal jurisdiction and venue therein.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
